Well there's a turn up. Giving Spain a brief miss, in June we had a week's holiday in France. We drove down to the Loire Valley visiting Tours, Saumur, Poitiers and numerous Chateaux, following in the footsteps of royalty from Eleanor of Aquitaine to Edward VIII. We also spent some time in the Dordogne before journeying further south to within an hour's drive of the Pyrenees. And then all the way back again.
